The Puppets Take Shape
Creating puppets is never just about following instructions — it’s about listening.
Each puppet begins from an idea, a sketch, a plan. (Thanks to our decades of experience and expertise and for the initial technical design ideas to Bernd Ogrodnik and his brilliant Academy program, we started with a strong foundation.) But as we began carving and assembling, something magical happened — the puppets began to talk back. :)
Their shapes, their movement, even their quirks revealed themselves as we worked. No matter how clear our vision was, each character had their own spirit. It’s a delicate process: part craftsmanship, part intuition, part quiet conversation with the wood.
We're learning to respect their individuality and help them come alive in the way they want. Slowly but surely, our forest friends are waking up.
